We are the Ice: The coaching staff and management of the Kootenay Ice believe in building a hockey program that focuses on personal development of the individual player through our team concept.  We believe we are accomplishing this by establishing extremely high expectations for our players,  combining education through hockey, promoting and instilling personal character values and above all, creating model citizens who have a willingness to help make our world a better place to live.
